Off Chances is the more laid-back sister party of Chances. Since late 2007 we have made mix CDs for every party, which are given away for free. The Off Chances Podcast contains each mix as a single file, so if you missed that month's party, or would like to share the music with a friend, you can!
A collective internet project bringing you disco and dance music - the good kind. With love from Chicago and points beyond. Check it out: 100 Days of Disco.
I started a band with Erica Burkhart and Kristin Weberg in 2003 and after Kristin moved on to become a lawyer in Boston, we recruited our friend Antonia Gustaitis to play the drums, and later our friend Matt Longacre to play various other instruments. Erica, Antonia and I recorded the song "You Hit Hard" in late 2003 with Alexis Gideon and Mike O'Neill. After Matt joined in 2004, we recorded 4 more songs on the hottest day of the summer in Antonia's attic with Jamie Carter. Just visualize us in our underwear sweating onto all the electronics! We disbanded shortly after, but had the pleasure of playing with such awesome acts as Mirah, Tara Jane O'Neil and Oh Yeah! I uploaded all the songs from our (highly sought after) E.P. Love Letters. Take a listen, if you'd like!
